How to Remove Nail Polish From Plastic

Nail polish and other paint spills are difficult to remove from most surfaces, including linoleum, Plexiglass and plastic surfaces. Nail polish dries quickly and spreads fast. When removing nail polish from plastic surfaces, you want to remove the polish and not the plastic's color or damage the plastic's surface underneath the polish. Once the nail polish is off your plastic surface, clean the surface with a non-abrasive solution to remove any polish residue as well as any dirt. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

    1

Wipe the spill up immediately with paper towels. Wear latex gloves to keep your hands clean. If the nail polish has dried on the surface, scrape the dried polish gently with a plastic putty knife.
