How to Make a Mosaic Table With CDs

How to Make a Mosaic Table With CDs

Recycle old or scratched CDs or DVDs by making them into a shiny mosaic. Create an eye-catching coffee table that is sure to be a conversation starter. Glue the pieces on randomly or make a picture using CDs of varying colors and patterns. Sketch out a drawing of a picture you'd like to make beforehand if you have an idea. Cut CDs into different sizes and shapes to make it look more interesting.

Instructions

    1

Break the CDs. You can use your hands to break them, but if you want more precise edges or shapes, cut them with wire cutters.

    2

Arrange the CD pieces on the table top as you'd like them to look.

    3

Glue the CD pieces on to the table using a hot glue gun.

    4

Brush on clear lacquer to give the table a nice finish. Allow it to dry.
