Show Display Ideas

Show Display Ideas

When setting up an exhibit booth at a trade show, you need to figure out how to stand out from the crowd. The larger the show, the more interactivity you're going to need. However, there are some classic ways to enhance your trade show area to draw attention and hopefully new customers.

Food, Glorious Food

Whether you're in the culinary industry or not, food is a natural draw for event attendees. You can choose to have delectable treats, refreshing fruits or a full spread of hors d'oeuvres at your booth to draw interest to your products. You'll want to limit the items so as to not overpower your presentation. Depending on your industry, be it hospitality, spa and salon services, or management, you can easily add a spin to link your fabulous fare as an example of the service your company provides its customers. Multiday shows can tire attendees, so a simple bag of popcorn and water will do just fine.

Free Stuff

Just about everyone loves getting free stuff. Order promotional items such as towels, pedometers and notepads with your company logo imprinted on them from promotional companies like 4Imprint.com that specialize in bulk orders for trade shows and conventions. Attach your collateral to your items either in a clear baggie or affixed with removable glue so that conferees are not simple grabbing your freebies without having information about your company.

Consultation Stations

Make better use of your display space by moving tables to the back of the booth or replacing it with a smaller bistro-style table and order additional chairs so that you can conduction quick consultations on site. You may find it more beneficial to ask for corner booths or larger spaces so you can do this, as well as hold mini informational seminars at your booth for multiple attendees. In this environment, you are allowing your traffic to sit and get a feel for who you are and what you offer, as opposed to just gliding by sliding your information in a tote bag to possibly never be seen again. Capture important contact data such as email addresses and full names so that you can follow up after the event.
