Ideas for Setting Up a Table at a Baby Trade Show

Ideas for Setting Up a Table at a Baby Trade Show

Planning success for a trade show requires an attention to detail, organized table and easy-to-understand displays that initially draw the customer in and then keep them engaged with pertinent interesting facts. Whether you decide to ramp up interest in your company's product or service by utilizing friendly baby colors such as blue, pink or green or by conducting fun research beforehand to engage people, several options are available. Balance visual and verbal interactions.

Baby Pictures

Two solutions meet the requirement to make this option appealing to the eye and draw future customers to your table. Use baby picture ads from magazines or select black-and-white images from a personal library or album. If you choose to use private pictures, request submissions from family and friends and allot for additional time to compile the offerings. Print images on glossy photograph paper for easy viewing and enlarge to size 8 x 10. Tape photos down on top of the table at all four corners to avoid wear and tear. Scatter the pictures in an abstract pattern, placing them around materials, covering edges with product or staggered in a line sequence. Encourage customer interaction by including a "guess that baby's name" card near each picture.

Tri-Fold Display

Draw extensive attention to your table by creating a tri-fold display complete with copied image(s), relatable facts and enticing color. Begin with a traditional table-top board with cork backing for an easy and versatile solution to building your design. Use the middle section for general baby information related to your product, the left panel for boy-specific information and the right for girl-specific information. If you don't wish to have the brown cork showing, affix blue paper to the left, white in the center and pink to the right. Sprinkle fun, unknown, obscure baby facts on the display to keep customers lingering within your table's reach. Use a black permanent marker for all printing to ensure there is no viewing difficulty of product information.

Baby Basket

Whether you decide to use a single medium-size bassinet basket or a few small wicker ones, adding this detail to your table will draw attention. Wrap ribbon around the handles of all baskets, blue for boys, pink for girls and green or yellow for neutral. Include a label for each basket to ensure that potential clients easily understand what they are viewing. Hand rattles, pacifiers and teething toys situated around the baskets also draw attention. A colored tablecloth with different colors of big polka dots adds a whimsical, inviting feel to this option. Baskets can hold company literature, products or giveaway items.
